Merino is high-end wool obtained from merino sheep. Merino fibres have superior protective properties perfect for adverse weather conditions.

Let us tell you a few words about how merino fibres work and why they are so special. These wool fibres are delicate and thin, so they have the ability to significantly tighten. Twisting fibres creates a huge amount of small air pockets in which air is trapped, and as we know, air is a great heat insulator. That way, we use our own energy and warm ourselves with the heat generated by our body. Merino wool is an excellent temperature regulator. In addition to maintaining a comfortable temperature (it makes you feel warm) if necessary, it can also wick away excess moisture (in the form of steam) on warmer days. Thanks to this, the skin remains dry and you don't overheat.

Merino fibres are also characterized by high breathability, i.e. moisture and sweat-wicking. They are porous, so moisture can be evenly distributed on them and then pushed outwards. That's why clothes made of merino wool keep you warm even when they're damp. Thanks to those properties of the merino wool clothing, you don't feel the unpleasant cold – both during intense effort and after a moment of stagnation – e.g. when you put on a backpack on a sweaty back or start to move after resting for a bit.

On the inside of this men’s sports long sleeve top, there's a 2D structure. The fibres of merino wool and polyester have been intertwined in such a way as to create fine squares that enable sweat evaporation and stimulate air micro-circulation.
