Women's Vest Taiga Polartec Alpha – Carbon

The Polartec Alpha vest consists of two parts: the main one – insulating the chest and back – and elastic inserts on the sides, thanks to which it fits the body perfectly and works when you're moving. There are two very deep pockets fastened with a flat zip and a large inside pocket – where you can keep your phone (it's useful during severe frosts that can make your battery die faster). The vest has a stand-up collar that protects your neck from the wind.

While designing the Polartec Alpha Vest, we wanted to achieve the best ratio of the insulation that the material can offer to its weight. The outer part of the vest (protecting the torso and back) is made of the Ripstop material (a similar one is used to make mountain hammocks and down jackets) and the inside layer is a flexible mesh with insulating Polartec Alpha balls which feel very pleasant to the touch. The elastic inserts on the sides are made of a warm Thermo Pro knitted fabric that wicks away moisture and adapts to body movements.

We wanted the vest to be suitable for demanding mountain, cross-country and cycling routes, but also fit into the urban-sport style. We’ve succeeded, didn't we?

Composition: outside layer: Ripstop – 100% PES; inside layer: Polartec Alpha – 100%  PES; side: Thermo Pro – 88% PES, 12% Elastane 

Product maintenance: wash at 40°C, do not iron
