Men's Gilet Primaloft Intensa

We've designed the Primaloft Intensa gilet for those who are looking for a versatile clothing that you can wear all year round. You can use men's Intensa gilet as a layer of insulation you put under a thinner jacket in winter and as thermal protection in summer in the event of weather changes after a sudden drop in temperature.

We've created the Intensa gilet in accordance with body mapping technology, dividing it into thermal zones. The places most exposed to cold, that is the front, back and collar, are made of quilted fabric with Primaloft insulation and the sides are made of flexible Polartec Powerstretch material that guarantees thermal comfort.

The quilted fabric is a three-layer material, with the outer and inner layers being RIP-STOP. The center of the fabric is the synthetic Primaloft Silver Eco insulation material.

The RIP-STOP insulation strengthens the fibres transversely and longwise, making the gilet more durable. It is also breathable, fast-drying and windproof.

The synthetic Primaloft Silver Eco insulation is a fluffy and elastic non-woven fabric which structure resembles cotton wool. It contains micro–gaps that retain air, protecting us from cold. In terms of insulation, Primaloft works similarly to natural down. Microgaps in the synthetic down effectively retain the heated air, i.e. the heat generated by the body. What’s more, Primaloft Eco is highly breathable and compressive and dries fast. The thermal insulation layer is durable, does not clump or move during use. Primaloft Silver Eco doesn’t absorb water excessively, and even when wet, it still maintains its insulating properties. Moreover, synthetic fibres of insulation are able to produce high surface tension, which allows for additional pushing out water and even faster drying.

People who care about the natural environment will be especially fond of Primaloft Silver Eco because 70% of this material is made of reused plastic bottles. The remaining 30% are virgin fibres, which form a soft, breathable and thermally-efficient insulating layer. Primaloft Silver ECO is as light as a feather and provides warmth and cosiness while offering anti-allergic properties (resistance to fungi and bacteria).

The Polartec Powerstretch, which we have applied on the sides of this men's vest, ensures high thermal comfort, and thanks to the micro-fleece on the inside, this product perfectly insulates and keeps you warm on cold days. Powerstretch fibres immediately absorb moisture and push it out. Due to the flexibility of Polartec Powerstretch, the gilet perfectly adapts to every body.

Because of its versatile nature, the Primaloft Intensa gilet is recommended for trekking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, but also for walking a dog, going to work or social meetings.
