Running shirts from Attiq. Comparison of Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts

Ritmo Morpho

The T-shirt is a classic-cut T-shirt, which when unfolded resembles a T-shape. Attiq's running collection could not be complete without such a "classic".

Both in the women's and men's versions, the traditional cut of the T-shirt has several models available in the offer - Ritmo Titanium, Vento, Vento Titanium, Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum. Let's take a closer look and compare models from the latest collections, i.e. Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum.

What do the Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts have in common?

At first glance, it seems that we are dealing with the same cut of the T-shirt. Yes, we call them "T-shirts" for simplicity's sake, but when we look closely, we'll find some essential differences. At first glance, it seems that we are dealing with the same cut of the T-shirt. Yes, we call them "T-shirts" for simplicity's sake, but when we look closely, we'll find some essential differences.

Classic or raglan? What is the difference between the sleeves in the Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts?

Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum are classic-cut T-shirts that differ in the type of sleeves. The Ritmo Morpho running shirt has classically sewn drop-down sleeves. They are finished with a narrow, sewn-on cuff to prevent the sleeves from being pulled up. On the other hand, the Ultra Trail Pro Tech T-shirt has the so-called raglan sleeves finished with the same material (not an additional cuff) and sewn with a flat seam. In both models, the sleeves are well-cut and do not restrict movement while running, and as you know, during such an effort, the hands "work" as hard as the legs.

Tight fit or slightly tight? Discover the differences in the cut of Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts?

Already in the photo we can see - and even more so after putting on - that the T-shirts slightly differ from each other in terms of body fit. The technical cut of the Ultra Trail Quantum guarantees a perfect fit, while the Ritmo Morpho has a tight-fitting, non-tight fit.

The most important difference - the fabric used in the production of Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts?

Let's move on to the most important difference, i.e. the fabric used in the production of T-shirts. The entire Ritmo Morpho T-shirt was made of mesh, which can also be found, among others in Morpho running singlets. The front and back of the jersey are made of mesh with a fine mesh structure, and an additional ventilation panel under the arms of a mesh with a 3D structure. These two types of mesh make the jersey extremely light, airy and perfectly breathable. Additionally - thanks to the large amount of elastane, i.e. elastic fiber - the Ritmo Morpho T-shirt adapts to the body, but does not restrict movement. It clings but does not feel tight. The advantage of the Ritmo Morpho t-shirt is the use of deformation-resistant and UV-radiation-resistant fibers in the material, thanks to which our t-shirt will not lose its intense colors even after several washes.

The material from which the Ultra Trail Pro Tech T-shirt was sewn is not a mesh, which does not mean that it is thicker. It feels as soft and delicate as the mesh from a Morpho T-shirt, and it feels like a second skin. In this case, we are dealing with Asteria Interpower fibers, i.e. a combination of polyester (86%) with elastane (14%), which are not only breathable and quick-drying, but also ventilate the body and cool.

Ventilating side panels in Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts

Another difference is the additional element that ventilates the body while moving, i.e. the side panels with which the Ritmo Morpho T-shirt is equipped. The ventilation panels are made of 3D mesh (90% polyester and 10% elastane), which can also be found, among others in running singlet shirts from the Morpho collection. There are no panels in the Ultra Trail Pro Tech T-shirt, but the fibers themselves have ventilation properties.

Flat and semi-flat seams on Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirts

And what about the seams, which we check so thoroughly, in order to reduce the possibility of abrasions during use. In the case of the Ritmo Morpho jersey, we are dealing with flat seams. This means that materials (of different genres or the same) that are next to each other in a T-shirt or other element of our wardrobe are not overlapped when sewed, but are somehow next to each other. When sewing - thanks to the fact that the materials only touch each other - there is no thickening that could rub against us. In addition, in the case of the Ritmo Morpho T-shirt - which further enhances the comfort of use - the side seams have been moved from under the armpit. So we have a minimal chance of abrasions in the area of the sleeves. The only "non-flat" seams appear at the junction of the sleeves with the cuffs. In the case of the Ultra Trail Quantum T-shirt, we have two types of seams - flat on the hems of the sleeves and semi-flat in the other places where the material is joined, i.e. still with increased comfort.

To sum up, the Ritmo Morpho and Ultra Trail Quantum seem to be the same T-shirts only at first glance, which we refer to as "T-shirts" for the sake of simplicity. They differ in everything - the cut, the type of fabric from which they were sewn and the functionality offered by the material used.
